Thomas Tuchel is set to be given full control of transfer activity over the next few months, and the Blues’ head coach has a big job on his hands.

There are set to be plenty more outgoings from Stamford Bridge as well.

Happy about these negotiations at the moment which will be helpful to Chelsea.

10:15Danyal Khan.Six fixtures that will define Chelsea 2022/23 Premier League season under Thomas Tuchel.

The 2022/23 Premier League season is going to be one like no other.

It makes the campaign incredibly difficult to predict – and almost certainly harder for Thomas Tuchel and his coaching staff at Chelsea to plan for.

The release of the full fixture list does enable that process to begin.

Naturally, plenty will change as the season gets into full swing with form, injuries, and plenty more impacting Tuchel’s side and selection decisions.

After the 2021/22 campaign wrapped, Tuchel spoke of the need to rebuild his Chelsea squad. That process hasn’t yet begun in earnest, no surprise given the multi-billion pound takeover of the club by the consortium led by Todd Boehly was completed less than three weeks ago.

Another side looking for revenge in their opening fixture will be Chelsea and Tuchel who travel to Merseyside to face off against Frank Lampard and his Everton side, who just about survived the drop in 2021/22.

Revenge is revenge and when 5:30pm comes around on August 6, the German will certainly want to get one over on his predecessor who had the first laugh in front of the Sky cameras.

London understand that Chelsea have agreed a fee with Southampton for goalkeeper Eddie Beach.

The 18-year-old impressed this season on the south coast, having played a pivotal role in the Saints lifting the Under-18 Premier League South division.

London also understand that several clubs were interested in securing the shot-stopper’s signature this summer, but Chelsea won the race.

Ironically enough, Beach’s final appearance of the 2021/22 U18 Premier League campaign came against the west Londoners in a 5-2 win.

Zinedine Zidane could hand Thomas Tuchel a major blow in the summer transfer window, with the former Real Madrid boss heavily tipped to replace Mauricio Pochettino in the dugout at Paris Saint-Germain.

The report adds that the French giant’s new sporting director Luis Campos is under pressure from the club’s Qatari ownership to appoint Zidane over Nice boss Christophe Galtier.

Zidane is said to want ‘absolute control’ over recruitment in the French capital, and he already has two players in mind that he’d like to earmark the birth of a new era at the club.

One of whom, according to El Chiringuito, via Sport, is Chelsea transfer target Ousmane Dembele.

Jorginho looks set to help Thomas Tuchel find a replacement for Antonio Rudiger this summer, with the Chelsea midfielder subject to growing interest from overseas.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the Old Lady are putting together a proposal for Chelsea, which could see Merih Demiral used as a makeweight in a swap deal.

The 24-year-old is reportedly set to return to Juventus this summer following an uninspired season-long loan at Atalanta.
