Chelsea Set Price For Marcos Alonso And Cesar Azpilicueta Amid Barcelona Transfer Talks

Chelsea have reportedly set a price on the potential exits of both Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso this summer.

The pair only have one-year remaining on their deals at Stamford Bridge, with rumours surrounding a possible double switch to Barcelona.

It comes ahead of a huge overhaul for manager Thomas Tuchel, who is tasked with transforming his squad in the window.

While the Blues started strongly last campaign, they ended the season limping to third.

A takeover from Todd Boehly has handed the German coach a reported £200million warchest to spend.

Add to that a number of high-profile exits and it’s clearly a time of transition for Chelsea.

There are also the names of experienced duo Alonso and Azpilicueta.

The latter has spent over ten-years at the club and is currently the captain, though with both entering their final year of their contracts, it could open up a transfer.

Barcelona have been widely linked and now, according to Sport, the Blues have set a price tag for both.

They claim that €13million each would land both for the Blaugrana, though there is said to be room for negotiation.

An extra £22million in transfer windfall could be useful for Tuchel, especially for squad players who may not be at the club beyond the season anyway.
