Tuchel and his players have spent almost a week in the United States as they ramp up their preparations for the 2022/23 campaign.
The Blues spent the previous six days in Los Angeles, where they were put through a number of training sessions at Drake Stadium at UCLA. But this morning, U.S. time, the Chelsea first-team squad and staff boarded a plane and made the short journey to Las Vegas.
In addition to Tuchel’s press conference, the players will undertake a training session on the pitch at the impressive Allegiant Stadium, which was opened just two years ago.
Our chief Chelsea correspondent Adam Newson will be in position in Las Veagas to bring you the latest thoughts of Tuchel ahead of the game – and find out whether Raheem Sterling will be ready to make his first appearance in a Chelsea shirt since signing in a deal worth £47.5million from Man City earlier this week.
Kalidou Koulibaly is set to by the Blues‘ second signing of the summer and the Senegal international is on his way to Las Vegas.
Given he is set to arrive this evening and have no time to train with the squad before tomorrow’s match, the centre-back is unlikely to feature.
