All the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours as they happen in our live blog on Sunday.
Welcome along to today’s football.
Arsenal’s pre-season tour is well underway now.
The Gunners have played three games in preparation for the new season, with the latest coming against Everton in the USA as the squad continue to build fitness.
While things on the pitch appear to be progressing nicely, proceedings off of it seem to be going smoothly too.
Four signings have joined the club in the opening four weeks of the summer window as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his side once again.
That could soon change to five arrivals as Arsenal are said to have reached a £30million agreement with Manchester City to sign the versatile Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Personal terms are yet to be agreed though, so it’s a story to keep an eye on throughout the day.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted that he has been hugely impressed by Matt Turner since joining the club this summer.
“Speaking about Turner to the club’s official website, the Spaniard said:”I’m really happy with him.
“The way he has settled in, he’s an extraordinary character, a lot of personality and he’s great at what we want. Obviously, it was a big moment for him to come in an Arsenal shirt in the States and play in front of the crowd and he did well.”
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has delivered an update on Youri Tielemans‘ future, admitting that no progress has been made with a new contract for the Arsenal target.
“There’s no update at all,” Rodgers said when quizzed on Tielemans‘ contract negotiations.
“He’s an amazing guy to work with. He’s just rejoined the club and he’s pretty much the same.”
“In training he’s very committed. He’s happy in his work and he’s happy at the club. But naturally with a year in his contract he may feel he has to look at everything for him and his family. But I certainly know he’s committed here while he is here.”
“I’ll have a good chat with Youri next week to get privately what he’s thinking. But it won’t change, whether he’s leaving or staying for another five years, he’ll still be super committed.”
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on defender William Saliba.
“Speaking to the club’s official website, Arteta said:”He was really good.
“I think he played a really good game, he looked really composed, straight away from day one he looked completely focussed, he’s evolved the way we wanted and today I think he had a great performance.”

Gabriel Jesus‘ agent Marcelo Pettinati has now admitted that Chelsea attempted to hijack the transfer but the 25-year-old had his heart set on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking to reporter Freddie Paxton, Pettinati said: “Chelsea were one of the teams that tried to hijack the Arsenal move. They tried very hard in the final days to get him. By that point, we’d already chosen our new project.”

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has delivered an update on a number of players‘ injury statuses.
“Speaking after the Gunners beat Everton, he said:”We have Kieran [Tierney] with a slight problem, we have Emile [Smith Rowe] with a muscular niggle, Tomiyasu as well and Ben [White].
“Vieira has a slight problem in his bone, hopefully he will start to train in the next week or so.”
